Built by a soldier. Driven by faith.

Founded by U.S. Army veteran and author Dwight E. Link — 82nd Airborne and 45th Infantry — Bastion & Jax Media was born from a conviction that faith-driven stories deserve a home. Based in the Missouri Ozarks and guided by the motto "Building Stories That Matter," we bring the same commitment to excellence, integrity, and mission-focus to publishing that military service demands. This is more than a business. It's a calling.

President, Founder & Author

Dwight E. Link

Dwight E. Link is an author, veteran, former minister, musician, husband, father, and grandfather whose writing is shaped by faith, perseverance, and the belief that even ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference.

A former paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and infantryman with the 45th Infantry Division, Dwight’s life has been marked by service, sacrifice, and a deep respect for those who stand in the gap for others. His military background, personal trials, ministry experience, and lifelong faith have all helped shape the message behind his work: no matter how dark the battle becomes, God can still use broken people for a greater purpose.

Before becoming an author, Dwight served in ministry as a youth pastor and senior pastor. He also founded Link to Hope Ministries, a ministry that reached children and families in India through compassion, faith, and practical support. These experiences gave him a front-row seat to both human suffering and the power of hope. They also deepened his conviction that faith is not meant to be passive — it is meant to move people toward courage, compassion, and action.

Dwight’s writing often explores themes of redemption, spiritual warfare, restoration, courage, and the quiet strength found in surrendering to God. His nonfiction book, Last Days Heroes, challenges readers to examine what it truly means to become a hero of faith in difficult and uncertain times. Through personal testimony, biblical encouragement, and honest reflection, Dwight invites readers to move beyond comfortable Christianity and step into a deeper, more courageous walk with God.

His fiction also carries that same heartbeat. In stories like Two Against the Odds: The Signature, Dwight blends suspense, faith, redemption, and spiritual darkness into character-driven stories about flawed people being drawn into battles much larger than themselves. His goal is not only to entertain readers, but to remind them that hope can still rise in broken places.

Dwight writes from the Ozarks near Branson, Missouri, where he continues to pursue his passion for storytelling, faith-based encouragement, and helping others stand strong through the battles of life. He is married to his wife, Delena, and is the proud father and grandfather of a family that remains one of his greatest blessings.

Whether writing nonfiction, fiction, devotionals, or messages of encouragement, Dwight’s mission remains the same: to point people toward faith, courage, redemption, and the God who still restores what life has broken.

Delena Link

Delena is a Customer Service Manager with many years of leadership and retail experience, dedicated to serving others with compassion, integrity, and excellence. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed building relationships, helping people, and creating positive experiences for customers and team members alike.

As the wife of a military veteran and a former pastor's wife, Delena has spent much of her life serving her community and encouraging others through faith. For many years, she served as the Worship Leader in her home church, using her gifts to inspire and uplift those around her.

One of the most defining chapters of Delena's life was walking alongside her daughter, Ashley, during her battle with cancer. Countless hours spent in hospitals deepened her compassion for families facing similar challenges. Through that journey, she developed a strong desire to offer hope, encouragement, and understanding to parents navigating the difficult realities of childhood cancer. Her experiences as a mother have given her a unique perspective on resilience, faith, and the power of community support during life's hardest seasons.

Married for 38 years, Delena considers her greatest blessings to be her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She is passionate about sharing her story, encouraging others through life's struggles, and reminding people that hope can be found even in the most difficult circumstances. Above all, her faith in God has been the foundation of her life, carrying her through challenges she never imagined she could overcome and continually reminding her of God's faithfulness and grace.

Delena is excited to work alongside Dwight as he continues to write and publish his books and novels. In her role, she will help manage bookings, speaking engagements, events, and other ministry and outreach opportunities. With her heart for people, strong organizational skills, and years of leadership experience, she looks forward to connecting with readers, coordinating opportunities, and supporting the work God has placed before them. Together, Delena and Dwight are committed to encouraging, inspiring, and serving others through their message of faith, hope, and perseverance.
